Baddoo: I might not marry my babymama – Olamide [Photos]

Its no longer news that Rapper Olamide, has since joined the trend of celebrity baby daddies.
In recent interview with Andre Blaze, the ‘Shakiti Bobo’ crooner, opened up on his love life, his plans for his baby mama and lots more.
Speaking on having a kid, he said, I’m very happy with the fact that I have a kid right now. I just can’t live that young and reckless ‘Mr. Man’ kind of life anymore (Laughs). Fatherhood is very nice, it’s good. I wasn’t scared at all. I’ve been longing to have a baby since I was in SS3 but I wouldn’t want to have a baby that’s going to come to this world and suffer. I think I’m good financially. I’m more mature and all that.
On his relationship with his baby’s mother, “We’re very cool. We’ve been cool from way back and we’ve been together for almost 5 years now. It’s not just some random chic that came around from nowhere. That’s just it. But the question of marrying her, that one is very hard to answer because Olamide is not God. Only God knows tomorrow.”

He also shared his biggest fears, ” my major fear is not making Heaven; the second one is failure. Nobody thought it was going to be this big for me…or for someone coming from Bariga, and you’re not even doing like Pop, RnB or something. You’re rapping, like rap doesn’t even really sell like that in Nigeria. And now you’re coming from the ghetto, and you’re not doing English rap. But glory be to God, I did a lot of hard work and it has paid for me. The grace of God has really helped me as well,’ he said.

On Controversies

D’banj ALREADY engaged to one of the Indimi girls?

The kokomaster might just be ready to put his bachelor days behind him!
The last time D’banj talked about marriage was when he turned 34 in June, and he dropped hints that he was taken, maybe already engaged or married though he didn’t reveal to whom.
Viral reports now claim that D’banj may already have proposed to Adama Indimi…..if you take a close look at her left hand (when she was photographed at his mother’s 61st birthday), you’ll see that she’s wearing a large diamond engagement ring.
The birthday celebration was a private event and only very close family attended, the celebrants children, their significant others, and children. Adama Indimi could only have been there as Dbanj’s boo.
Adama Indimi has always been friends with D’Banj and they became even closer in 2012, though many said they were just good friends. Back then, they shared pictures of each other on social media.

“I Wish I Had My Children Earlier” – Peter Okoye

Peter Okoye spoke about parenting in a chat with PUNCH saying he wished he had his children earlier.
The 34 year old father of two said:
I wish that I had my children earlier; I was with their mum for years before we got married. I even had them before we got married. If I had them a long time ago, we would relate more like siblings. If they were teenagers for instance, they would know that their dad is a celebrity and can learn certain things on their own.

On his style of parenting , he said
I keep it young and fresh. People have turned parenting into something else just like marriage. I still live like a young boy; I don’t want to feel and act old. I want my kids to look up to me as role model. I am inspired by the footballer, David Beckham. I want my son to grow up to become my friend. That is why I said I wish I had my children earlier.
On if fatherhood has restricted him in any way
Everyone knows that I’m a crazy person on stage. I take off my shirt on stage and the fact that I am married with kids doesn’t change that. It’s called showbizness and that is what I do for a living. When I get on stage, I put aside every other thing and simply enjoy the show.

Army arrests ex-militant leader as lawyer threatens legal action

Soldiers suspected to be from the 4th Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Benin, Edo State Capital, have arrested an ex-militant leader, Aboy Francis Muturu, at his residence in Bomadi Town of Delta State.
The former militant, sources said, was arrested in the presence of his breastfeeding wife in the early hours of Friday last week.
It was not clear if he was arrested in connection with the activities of the new militant group, Niger Delta Avengers, responsible for the series of attacks on oil facilities in the region in recent times.
Findings by our correspondent reveal that the ex-militant kingpin was among those to have voluntarily embraced the amnesty programme initiated by the erstwhile President Musa Yar’Adua.
It was gathered that General Aboy as he is fondly called was immediately whisked to an unknown destination and has been kept incommunicado from family members Ijaw leaders.
The former militant’s wife, Mrs. Beauty Aboy Muturu, confirmed the arrest to our correspondent when contacted on the telephone.
Meanwhile, a prominent Warri lawyer and National coordinator, Conference for the actualisation of Human Right, Mr Omes Ogedegbe, on Monday threatened legal action against the Nigerian Army over the arrest.
Ogedegbe, who claimed to be lawyer to the ex-militant, in an open letter to the Army Chief of Staff, described the arrest as provocative and illegal.
The arrested ex-militant’s lawyer said, “That upon the embrace of the amnesty programme, our client has long denounced militancy as he is currently the managing director of Vicmut Hotels Limited located in Bomadi main town with a laudable staff strength.
“That since the abduction of Ex-Militant General Aboy Francis Muturu on the 7th of June, 2016, the whereabouts of ex-General Aboy Francis Muturu has remained unknown neither has the family any clue as to his whereabouts save for the fact that Capt. Robert of the 222 battalion was part of the team.”
Ogedegbe noted should the Nigerian Army fail to release the ex-militant leader within the next 48 hours counting from Monday it would institute a legal action to enforce the fundamental human rights of the former warlord.
When contacted on the development, Capt. Jonah Unuakhalu, Assistant Director, Public Relations Unit of the 4 Brigade Benin, denied knowledge of the incident but promised to investigate and get back to our correspondent.

Ogoniland: Another long wait for restoration

With the recent inauguration of the clean-up of Ogoniland, stakeholders believe that the absence of a framework for the implementation of the United Nations Environment Programme recommendations could mean another long wait for Ogoniland restoration, writes CHUKWUDI AKASIKE
An unmatched level of euphoria greeted the declaration that President Muhammadu Buhari would be in Ogoniland to inaugurate the clean-up of the area several years after the United Nations Environment Programme submitted its report to the immediate past administration. The reason is not farfetched because the people of the area, which comprises four local government areas, Khana, Gokana, Eleme and Tai, have suffered many years of environmental degradation as a result of oil exploration and production.
Water and soil were extremely contaminated, a development that left the locals poorer while the oil companies operating in the area then laughed all the way to the bank. For over 27 years, the people of Ogoni had cried out through peaceful protests and stakeholders’ meeting over the hardship the oil pollution was causing them. With the main occupations as farming and fishing, soil and oil pollution undeniably means a halt in their sources of livelihood. This explains why the turnout for the inauguration of the restoration of their badly polluted land was huge.
But there have been many questions about the next line of action after the inauguration because in the past, work on the restoration of Ogoniland had always been on the periphery while the main task of removing the oil from the soil and water has never been tackled head-on. Though Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who represented the President during the Ogoni clean-up inauguration, had stated that the Federal Government would provide a framework for the exercise, nothing had been heard in the past about the template that would ensure a total recovery of the soil and water in Ogoniland.
Apart from that, there appears to be nothing on the ground administratively that will lead to the eventual ‘invasion’ of the area by land and water restoration experts. That, however, does not remove the kudos given to President Buhari, who had taken the bold step to kick-start the clean-up of Ogoniland. But the mindset of the people now is what next?
Giving his opinion on the inauguration of the Ogoni clean-up, which took place on June 2, 2016, the Chairman of Ogoni Traditional Rulers, His Royal Highness, King Suanu Baridam, expressed gratitude to President Buhari for demonstrating the will to kick-start the process of restoring Ogoniland and other impacted areas in Niger Delta, even as he described the exercise as ceremonial.
The monarch, who had voluntarily resigned his membership of the UNEP Report Implementation Committee before the launch of the clean-up, explained that the Federal Government ought to have carried out a medical check-up on the people of the area. Baridam recalled that the UNEP report had stated that one out of every 10 Ogoni persons was prone to cancer due to the consumption of contaminated water.
“We are happy that the clean-up exercise of Ogoniland has come up. But I have some reservations. Flag-off is different from clean-up proper. It (flag-off) is a ceremonial thing. Before now, they (Federal Government) should have carried out medical study of every Ogoni person to find out the health status because we were told that one out of every 10 Ogoni people is likely to suffer cancer from water contaminated by benzene. The commencement of the clean-up proper is what everybody is looking for. Shell has expressed its readiness in the counterpart arrangement. It is left for the Federal Government to show commitment.
“Former President Goodluck Jonathan should have commenced the flag-off, but he did not. It was Buhari that has fast-tracked the implementation. What Federal Government should do is to appoint members of a board to oversee the clean-up process. There is no need for forming several committees because most of the assignments were things we have done,” Baridam suggested, just as he promised that traditional rulers in Ogoniland under the aegis of CONTRA would work with the Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People to ensure that the clean-up proper was realised.
However, MOSOP expressed worry over the absence of structures for the proper restoration of Ogoni environment, but immediately added that it would not be fair to say that the entire efforts of the Federal Government was a deceit due to the absence of a framework for the exercise.
The Media Adviser to MOSOP, Mr. Bariara Kpalap, told Saturday PUNCH on Wednesday that the President of the Ogoni apex body had begun to speak with the Federal Government on the need to put a Governing Council for the exercise in place.
Kpalap, who said Ogoni people were actually worried about the current situation, also observed that there was no Board of Trustees put in place to actualise the clean-up of the area, even as he expressed the belief that the Federal Government was doing something to put structures in place.
He said, “The truth about this is that the current Federal Government has shown more commitment than any other government in the past as far as the clean-up of Ogoniland is concerned. Things not in place now are certain structures that are fundamental to the implementation of the UNEP report. The Vice President promised that the structures would eventually be put in place.
“For now, there is no clear framework for the implementation; the Governing Council, the Board of Trustees are currently not in place. I am aware that the President of MOSOP (Mr. Legborsi Pyagbara) is speaking with the Federal Government. I don’t really think that there is any deceit in the process because I feel the Federal Government is doing something to put structures in place for the eventual clean-up of Ogoniland.”
In all these, there has been a mild criticism that some prominent Ogoni persons, who were part of the struggle, were not invited to the inauguration. One of such persons, who was conspicuously missing at the event, is the former president of MOSOP, Mr. Ledum Mitee.
According to Mitee, “I was not invited to the inauguration. There have been engagements on the issue and I have not been invited. The process has been driven by the Federal Ministry of Environment; there have been engagements on the issue, but I have not been invited.”
But the CONTRA Chairman (Baridam) explained that though many prominent Ogoni sons and daughters were invited, including Mitee, not all of them showed up at the event. Baridam specifically said that he discussed with MOSOP President about Mitee, who told him that he (Mitee) was invited. He added that some prominent Ogoni sons like Ledum Kpage and Prof. Don Baridam were also not at the occasion, adding that record at MOSOP office showed they were invited.
In his remark, an environmentalist and expert in soil restoration, Mr. Olabode Akinjide-Oladeji, explained that though there was no design yet for the exercise, contracts for the clean-up of Ogoniland should be transparent.
Akinjide-Oladeji, who is the Chief Executive Officer of OilOff Africa Limited, explained that this was necessary in order to ensure that the restoration of the Ogoni environment was achieved within the expected timeframe.
He pointed out that the job of restoring Ogoniland was not an all-comers affair, adding that organisations with good track-record should be allowed to manage the task.
Akinjide-Oladeji expressed optimism that with the current disposition of the Muhammadu Buhari administration, the clean-up of the area would not be difficult to achieve. He explained that though the exercise was a tough task, it could be made easier with the mobilisation of the right equipment to site.
He said, “The approach to the clean-up of Ogoniland cannot be the traditional way of doing things. Contracts should be awarded in a more professional manner. We are impressed that the body language of the current administration shows commitment to the clean-up.”
Nevertheless, an environmental rights activist, Ms. Ann Kio-Briggs, pointed out that there were no signs that the clean-up of Ogoni would begin anytime soon. She also doubted the financial capacity of the Federal Government to fund the exercise, adding that the exchange rate of the naira to the dollar was not favourable. The activist argued that there should have been contractors on the ground, who would have started work immediately after the inauguration.
Kio-Briggs recalled that a dollar could go for N150 as of the time UNEP recommended the clean-up of Ogoniland and other impacted areas in the Niger Delta.
She said, “Today, the naira is N355 to a dollar at the black market. If you look at the figures, where is Federal Government going to get the money to fund the exercise?
“Again, when you look at the budget, there is nowhere you will see anything earmarked for Ogoni clean-up. Some people are saying funds will come from Shell; which Shell? Oil production and revenue have fallen. With this, one begins to doubt the ability of government to get fund for the Ogoni clean-up.
“So far, no company has been assigned and these companies will come from outside Nigeria because no Nigerian company has the capacity to do the clean-up. The inauguration of the clean-up was just ceremonial. Truth be told, I don’t think there is anything that shows that the clean-up will start anytime soon; I could be wrong.”
However, many are of the view that only time will tell if the current efforts of the Federal Government will see to the restoration of Ogoniland or a mere flash in the pan. Currently the oil is still mixed with the soil and water in the oil rich area.

Sex scandal: Resign or be recalled, lawyers tell Reps

Niyi Odebode, Friday Olokor,   Adelani Adepegba
and Ade Adesomoju
Prominent groups and civil rights activists have described as embarrassing the alleged sexual misconduct of three members of the House of Representatives during their visit to the United States
The groups and individuals, in separate interviews with Sunday PUNCH,  said if the allegation was established, the affected members should resign or be recalled by their constituents.
The US  Ambassador to Nigeria, James Entwistle,   in a letter dated June 9, 2016, addressed to the Speaker of the House, Mr. Yakubu  Dogara, had alleged that three members of the House, Mohammed Garba Gololo (APC, Bauchi), Samuel Ikon (PDP, Akwa Ibom) and Mark Gbillah (APC, Benue) had, on a recent visit to the US for the International Visitor Leadership Programme, brought disrepute to the parliament by soliciting for sex from prostitutes and grabbing a hotel housekeeper in a bid to rape her.
The affected lawmakers have, however, denied all the allegations and threatened to sue the ambassador and the US government for “character defamation and a calculated attempt to ridicule the National Assembly.”
But a lawyer and President of Committee for Defence of Human Rights, Mr. Malachy Ugwummadu, described the “scandal as one too many.”
Malachy said, “Once again, this has embarrassed our sensibility; it has scandalised us.
“Beyond the report of the scandal, it demands a thorough investigation. It is gratifying that the House of Representatives asked its committee to get to the root of the matter.
“The US Ambassador cannot write the report frivolously. If it is established that the allegations against the lawmakers are true, the legislators should be recalled by their constituents as provided for under the Constitution.”
He also said they should be prosecuted either in Nigeria or in the US depending on available evidence.
Another lawyer and rights activist, Mr. Jiti Ogunye, who made a similar call, dismissed the threat of legal action by the legislators.
He said the legislators would have a tough case to make as the US Ambassador would not have made the allegation without evidence.
Ogunye said, “The allegation of attempt of immoral dalliance and consummation of prostitution in the US levelled against the members of the House of Representatives is very disturbing.
“Our legislators are globally notorious for earning more than they deserve paradoxically, in a country where the people are living in largely below the poverty line.
“However, the allegation of going to the US to procure illicit sex has added further insult to our injury.
“We hope that the allegation is not true. But what is expected to debunk the allegation is the laughable threat of instituting legal action against a diplomat that has diplomatic immunity that cannot be sued here by the legislators.
“If the allegation is established, the legislators should resign from office. And if they remain in office they should be barred from embarking on foreign trips so that they will not further disgrace Nigeria.”
Another prominent lawyer, Mr. Wahab Shittu, said the scandal was a reflection of Nigeria’s collapsing value system.
Shittu said, “I think the scandal is a reflection of our collapsing value system. The case should not be swept under the carpet. The Nigerian government should have interest in this matter because it borders on our international image and integrity. It borders on our integrity and our image and it should be treated as such.
“If the legislators are indicted and their allegations and found to be guilty, they should be recalled by their constituents if they don’t have the courage to resign.”
On his part, the National Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin, urged the House to suspend those involved.
He stated, “The House of Representatives must launch an investigation into the allegations and possibly suspend the characters, pending the outcome of the investigation.
“If a guilt verdict is established, they should be made to vacate their seats as a deterrence to other wayward characters. The issue deserves investigation because America would have no reason to single out three of them out of 10 for these serious allegations.”
Also a US-based activist, Smart Ajaja, in an interview with one of our correspondents, said the allegation gave every responsible Nigerian residing in America a cause for concern.
“The incident of sexual misconduct, especially rape or attempted rape, when reported, is a grievous offense and regardless of who you are, you will be made to face the full weight of the applicable law if and when a firm case to that effect is established against you,” he said.
According to him prostitution, though a lesser sexual misconduct falling under the misdemeanour categorisation, is illegal in most states of the US.
Ajaja stated, “It is also interesting that there are now some Nigerian women-pimps who specialise in arranging fellow Nigerian women including vulnerable married women looking for contracts, cash and connections in Nigeria, for interested visiting Nigerian politicians to the US.”
When contacted, the US Embassy in Nigeria refused to respond to request for further information on the alleged involvement of three members of House of Representatives in sex scandal in Cleveland, US.
An email request on Saturday on the next step being taken by the US government on the scandal did not receive a positive response from the mission in Abuja.
The mission Press Attaché, Sean McIntosh, insisted that the embassy would not comment on “private diplomatic correspondence.”
McIntosh said, “Again, we decline to comment on private diplomatic correspondence. Visa records are confidential per the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act.”

Chinese firm to build 1,000 houses for civil servants

Friday Olokor, Abuja
The Federal Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a Chinese firm to build 1,000 houses for federal civil servants in the country.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs.Winifred Oyo-Ita, while signing the MoU between the Staff Housing Loans Board and China Nangtong Sanjian Construction Company, said the occasion was a significant event in the life of the civil servants and herself.
According to her, the agreement provides another opportunity to promote one of the welfare packages for the federal civil servants by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
A statement issued by the Assistant Director (Media Relations) in the office of the HCSF, Mohammed Manga, quoted Oyo-Ita as saying that significant demand for housing in the country had continued to rise as only 20 per cent of public servants owned houses of their own.
She added that it was time for Nigeria to benefit from its contributions to the African Development Bank as a member of the African Union to enable the citizens own houses of their own.
According to her, it is in recognition of the shortage of houses for federal civil servants that the present administration made the sector a key focus in the change agenda, with a target of 500,000 housing units and significant allocation to the sector in this year’s budget under the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing.
She maintained that addressing the sources of mortgage needs of the Federal Government employees would not only motivate them, but would go a long way in reducing perceived corrupt practices in the service.
Oyo-Ita expressed optimism that developing the housing sector would help stimulate economic growth as well as create jobs in the economy.
“Indeed, having construction is one of the indices of most developing economies,” she stated.
Earlier in his speech, the Vice General Manager, CNTC, Mr. Tee Ching Seng, said the firm was ready to share its wealth of experience with Nigerians.
He gave an assurance that his company would deliver the most quality and affordable houses to the civil servants.

Chile beat Mexico 7-0

Eduardo Vargas scored four goals as Chile hammered Mexico 7-0 to reach the semi-finals of the Copa America Centenario in spectacular style, Sky Sports reports.
Edson Puch book-ended the scoring at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara and Vargas took his tally to six in the last two games, while Alexis Sanchez scored Chile’s third goal and had a hand in several more.
The rout means Chile, who also scored four in their final group game against Panama, will go into Wednesday’s last-four clash with Colombia in Chicago in ever more confident mood, while Mexico return home to lick their wounds.
Nestor Araujo’s tackle denied Puch, playing in place of the suspended Mauricio Isla, an opener in the first few minutes.
But he made the breakthrough in the 16th minute when Sanchez’s flick and Charles Aranguiz’s pull-back combined to create the chance, Guillermo Ochoa parried Marcelo Diaz’s shot and Puch sidefooted home his first international goal.

My mum prayed, fasted for me to marry my wife – Seyi Sodimu

Love me Jeje crooner, Seyi Shodimu, tells Saturday Beats about his career
You have been off the radar for more than 15 years, where have you been?
I have been around. I  moved to Nigeria about eight years ago. I went to the US in 1985, I was a kid then. It is really hard to detach and get up and come back home. But now, I have a house in Nigeria and I also have a house in Washington.
So you just left music after Love me Jeje
I have been doing music behind the scene. I funded some artistes in Nigeria here that you would not know about and I may not tell you. I have been recording, I have raised two kids and I also invested in real estate. I built a school here in Nigeria about two years ago. I asked my wife what she wanted and she said she wanted to build her own school. I see that project as one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. She supported my music.   So I had to support her.  But then, I still record music, I have not left.
You speak so passionately about your wife but most times, Nigerian couples abroad usually break up, what has been the thing that sustained your marriage?
It is the upbringing and the values I decided to uphold.  I was raised very well and I put God first in everything I do. People would always have misunderstanding but it is what you do thereafter when such happens that matters. I thank God for the life He has given me. It is His grace that you are a celeb and you are still able to maintain a decent home.
Are you fully back home now?
Yes, I am but I travel a lot like any other person. It is a global economy now. I am here 70 per cent of my time. But in summer, I am not usually here. I take off at that time to spend the holidays with my kids. Children grow up so fast these days. My greatest achievement is my children.  They are the ones I will leave everything I have for, so they deserve that time I spend with them.
You left Nigeria when the ovation was loudest, what happened?
As you grow older, your priorities change. When I did Love me Jeje, the structure was not there, it wasn’t even profitable at that point. I was in the US when I released that song. I came home and released it here and I went back. Till today, I still get royalties from that song. You have to do music when you can give it your full attention. I cannot release a song every month like some artistes do. For me, music has to be evergreen. It wasn’t as if I planned to leave but it was just the nature of what I was doing at that time.
But if you had released another hit three or four years after, don’t you think you may still have been much known now?
You are right. But look at artiste like Adele, she releases a song and goes away for like five years. When you reach a level of success, you have to be able to enjoy life.  Asa does the same thing. My gap has been a little bit more because of the fact that  sometimes I release a single in the US or London and I don’t bring it back home.
Could it be the reason you came back to do a remix of Love me Jeje?
The remix wasn’t what I had wanted to do. For more than 10 years, people have been telling me to remix the song and I said no. Why would you remix something that you released and it was successful?  But two years ago, I met Sheezy, Davido’s producer and he asked me to do it again and I refused. He asked for permission to do the song again and I should just bless it for him, I agreed. I came back a month later and he told me he had done the song but didn’t know anybody that would do the lyrics like I would do it. So they convinced me to run through the song so that they would have a guide for the person that would do it. A week later, he told me he was using my voice and not any other. They played it back for me and I was impressed. They decided to use another Nigerian singer as well but they called her and she wasn’t interested. I will not tell you the person’s name. I decided to call my people in the US to give the song a more international flavour. I called Brandy and she loved the song but she couldn’t do it because there was a clearance issue with her label. We called Kelly Rowland, she wanted to do it but she was pregnant. I decided to call K Mitchell.  My people here said nobody knows her. I told them she is talented. We flew to Atlanta and she did her part and we recorded it.
Are there times you wish you had stayed back in Nigeria and maybe, release another hit so that you would always be in people’s minds?
Oh yes, I do wish I did that sometimes. The business that we are in, you have to be spiritually sound. I wish I had stayed back because when we did it, it wasn’t like this and if I had continued I may not have had the two kids I have now. I may not have been able to raise them; I may not have had all the business I have now. You have to be smart about your life. You are responsible for your wife and kids first and not music. I wish I had done both at the same time but something would have had to give way.
When did you become a professional musician?
It is a passion. If you have desire to do music, nothing will stop you. I finished college and I decided to take voice lessons. There was a fire inside of me. I have never regretted it.
How did you meet your wife?
I met her in Washington. We were both in the university. I was dating an American girl at that time. I saw her and I felt she was the cutest Nigerian I had ever seen. My mum started praying and fasting and wishing I would marry her because she didn’t want me to marry ‘Akata’ (American).  If I hadn’t met her, I would have married an American, I am very sure of that. She was the last person I dated and I married her.

Babymama Anna Banner breaks up with Flavour; he lied to her until she got Pregnant

I don’t have much to say about this, but it reminds me of the things I’ve been saying all along. Read and enjoy what Anna Banner told Stella about her relationship with Flavour…the private details…
Anna you went on a rant on Saturday and your posted meme suggested your relationship with the father of your child is troubled. Wanna talk about it?First of all, Flavour and I are no longer together. Secondly, my post has/had nothing to do with flavour. It was just a beautiful write up that made sense to me and i decided to share it with my fans.
You and flavour are no longer together? When did this happen and why?
Yes we are no longer together. I made this decision recently. I spoke to myself and decided it was time to move on and focus on my future and career. Did you convey your decision to him? what was his reaction?
Yes i did.. we are both cool with it.
So Anna why did you decide to become a baby mama when you are so young and have a bright future ahead of you?I never decided to become a baby mama, I just fell in love. I fell in love and got pregnant unexpectedly for the man I loved. I had never gotten pregnant before and i was scared of abortion.
I decided to keep my baby no matter what, I never tried to hold a man down or force marriage on anyone with my pregnancy. You know in life, the hardest decisions always turn out beautiful. I don’t regret keeping my baby one bit. She is my greatest achievement in life so far. I fall in love with her every second of the day.
Okay let me ask another question. You knew Sandra Okagbue and Flavour were a couple and that she was even pregnant for him. Why did you nosedive into the relationship with him knowing all these?
I never knew flavour was with another woman while we were dating. We started dating way before ‘Golibe was composed’. He never mentioned/admitted he had any relationship ties with anyone even after rumour had it that he was dating someone else and she was even pregnant for him. I believed him.

I confronted him again when i heard she had put to bed and it seemed true. He accepted after much talk but unfortunately i was already pregnant ,never knew i was pregnant until i was one month gone. What was i supposed to do? Take out my precious child? Hell no.I believe God sent her to me for a reason.

See What happened After This Ugly Black Boy Married This White Girl

Do you know the real meaning of love?.. if you don’t, then this photo tells it all. Love isn’t something you find. Love is something that finds you.
That boy is hot, Melanin all the way…now I understand why they say if you go black you ain’t going back…whoever calls him a beast doesn’t know what beauty is…that color isn’t sold in the market,
but products for becoming white is everywhere…get used to things money can’t buy and stop the self hate.
You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere.
You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection. So we waste time looking for the perfect lover, instead of creating the perfect love.

Aridolf Hotel In Bayelsa Owned By Patience Jonathan

The Aridolf hotel in Yenagoa is an unlikely monument to kitsch on a reclaimed swamp in Nigeria’s oil-producing Niger delta. In the lobby, Louis XIV furniture is accompanied by bowls of plastic fruit, faux Dutch landscapes and a grotesquely gaudy chandelier. The hotel is redolent of the riches on display in a region that for half a century has generated the bulk of Nigeria’s wealth.

Only a decade and-a-half ago there was just one petrol pump in Bayelsa state, which produced a quarter of Nigeria’s 2m barrels per day of oil, and Yenagoa, the state capital, was a string of tin-roofed shacks. Resentment at the region’s under-development erupted in violence, with militants blowing up pipelines and kidnapping oil workers.

Today, Yenagoa is a sprawling construction site. But the Aridolf, which is owned by Patience Jonathan, wife of the outgoing president, is symptomatic of how superficial progress has been in addressing the festering sense of marginalisation in the region, which remains desperately impoverished despite benefiting from a tide of petrodollars in recent years.

US Soldier returns home to surprise his daughter at her High School graduation

After spending nine months planning a surprise visit, a soldier made a quick return home from service to surprise his daughter in time for her high school graduation. Master Sgt. Derrick Morris was not due back from serving in Kuwait until September and he told his daughter, Camille Morris, he would not get to see her graduate.

Derrick however had another plan in mind. He arranged with the principle of his daughter's school, Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego, to be able to surprise his little girl and keep it a secret.

When the day came, the sergeant made a huge entrance in front of the entire school and completely shocked her.

Camille burst into tears at the sight of her father and rushed to hug him. When asked how she felt afterwards, she said, 'I didn't want to let go, I wanted to hold on to him. It would've been a year in September since I'd seen him, probably would've missed my 18th birthday, too.'

Derrick Morris will now spend a few days together with his family before he returns back to Kuwait.

We don’t have time for girl that claims Burna Boy got her pregnant –Mum

Early in the week, a young lady, Uju Stella, made claims that she is pregnant for popular singer, Burna Boy. Although the singer has said nothing about the issue, he posted a video on his Instagram page as he lip synced to a song in the background with the lyrics that he slept with the girl once but now she’s claiming that she is pregnant.
Many people believe that he was addressing the issue and he was also making jest of the young lady. However, in an exclusive chat with Saturday Beats, the singer’s mother said that she also read about the news on the internet but her son is more focused on his music career and would not dissipate energy on a lady that claims to be pregnant for him.
She said, “My son has never said anything concerning the issue, he has never said a word, maybe there was a song at the background of the video that he posted online but he has never said a word concerning the issue.  What you know is what we know basically and my take on it is that we would rather just focus on his music which primarily affects his life than that. In Africa, it is not a criminal offence for someone to be pregnant for somebody. If somebody says that she is pregnant for somebody and the person refuses to accept it, you look for his family instead of tagging a blogger. We have nothing to say to her. We don’t know anything about any child. She can never come to me, she has already gone to the blogger; she can never come to me.”
To buttress her point, she said that Burna Boy just released a new video during the week and it is enjoying massive airplay. She added that the Nigerian music industry is one in which ladies always accuse young men of being responsible for their pregnancies.
“It is not new; these girls come up from time to time with different claims.  My position on this is ‘no comment’. Anybody can claim anything that they want to claim. We have absolutely nothing to say, Burna Boy is a musician and we want to focus on his music. Nobody has time for her. We saw all the reports online but we just chose to look the other way. In this industry, girls are always coming up with pregnancy claims, we see it every day. We are not bothered and we have no comment. We just recently premiered a new video during the week and it is enjoying massive airplay. We are focusing on the music and nothing else,” she said.
